Kambiz Sinichi started working on woods in Iran(1991), studying on traditional Persian wooden structures. His acquaintance with music and guitar was a motivation to use his skills on wood and art of music, which resulted studies, translations and collecting of information in order to build guitars.
He uses the best quality of varied types of woods, which he collects from different parts of the world, believing type of the wood, its condition and storage time has great impact on outcome.
The finishing procedure on his guitars are usually with nitrocellulose or French polish.
The woods he uses are such as:
Top: German Spruce, Alpine Spruce or Red Cedar
Back & side: Indian Rosewood, Cypress, Maple, Madagascar Rosewood, Ziricote, Mahogany, Walnut, Palo Escrito, Padauk, Amazon Rosewood or Brazilian Rosewood.
Finger board: Ebony
Neck: Spanish Cedar or Mahogany
